Derbyshire Dales Climate Hub

The Derbyshire Dales Climate Hub is made up of local residents and people who work in the Dales.  We share a common concern about the climate and ecological crisis and aim to raise awareness of these very urgent issues. We seek to enhance the partnership between the community and the Derbyshire Dales District Council (DDDC) in addressing carbon reduction and nature recovery to mitigate human impacts and climate change.

The Hub depends entirely on volunteer effort. If you have some time to spare and are concerned about climate change, please think about how you could contribute to our work. We always need extra help with practical projects and specific tasks such as creating a survey, developing ideas, and setting up action groups. If you have administrative skills, you might help with minute taking or drafting letters. If you are tech savvy, you could help us develop our social media presence, and keep the website up to date. If you can get involved, even if only for one hour a week, contact us at to discuss your interests.
